Same old ...

I basically did the same workout as last week. Surprise surprise. I'm stuck. Ugh.

65/1 (no jerk)
My shoulders were even tighter today; the pullups the day before didn't help.

Whatever, I was tired at that point.
(Can you sense the bitterness in my tone?)

leg lowers 3x20
pushups 3x20
dips 3x10

Not gonna even try to remember yesterday's meals. Today was as follows:
Breakfast: 1/2 c yogurt, PP, apple, TONS of almond butter (read: TOO much, I definitely over did it with the fat)
Lunch: BBQ chicken, cauliflower, broccoli, salad (greek), olive oil, vinegar, half a bowl of butter nut squash and pecan soup
Snack: 1/2 lara bar, salmon
Dinner: steak, green beans, cole slaw, carrots, small salad (half greek), olive oil, vinegar, big(ger) bowl of butternut squash soup

Too much food!

did you happen to see this? He mentions that cravings may actually be our body's way of signaling our needs. Perhaps you have been undereating FAT for far too long my dear!

What Sarena said! I hadn't really thought of it, as I eat so much fat...but other than the almond & fish, what are your constant fat sources? I do best (and I'm old & slow and not as active as you)with 50% of my calories from fat. I should have thought of this sooner, actually, as often women won't eat enough if they are semi-paleo.

Good point. I think I get enough fat, though; I'm always drizzling olive oil on everything I eat, and not worrying about extra fat in the meats that I eat. Like my greek salad had olives in it, etc. So I dunno ...
it may be that I just really like the taste of almond butter!!!!

Pick a few 'normal days' and run them through fitday, see what you see.

Mainly I think you'll get in your groove as things settle. I don't know any thing about O lift programming, so I can't comment on that.

I'm an almond butter junkie as well. If I liked it on beef it would be the perfect food.

I used to run ALL my stuff through fitday, but that's hard when I'm at a cafeteria eating food I didn't cook myself. Sure it's mostly paleo, but I don't know exactly how much I'm eating, or what's in the soup etc etc. I know when I was zoning and doing 14 blocks I was eating like 1600-1700 cals a day, which I thought was enough but apparently wasn't.
